He began his academic journey at Dr. Padiar Memorial Homoeopathic Medical College, Kerala, and pursued advanced studies at Calicut Homoeopathic Medical College in 1992. He later continued his higher education at Sonajirao Kshirsagar Homoeopathic Medical College, Maharashtra, further refining his expertise.

After completing his formal education, Dr. Hidayathullah dedicated over three decades to patient care, research, and innovation. Located in the hilly terrain of Kakkadampoyil in Kozhikode, this sprawling 15-acre expanse was established as much more than a farm — it became a living research ground. Manakkal Orchards was built to test and observe how homoeopathy could be practiced beyond humans. It houses a rich diversity of flora, including exotic and local fruits like rambutan, mangosteen, orange, cocoa, and spices, alongside a wide variety of livestock such as horses, cows, goats, rabbits, ducks, and fish. For over a decade, this diverse ecosystem served as the primary testing ground to refine field-level homoeopathic practices in agriculture and animal husbandry without routine dependence on toxic chemicals.
